The Ordinary – AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
Acid Peeling with AHA and BHA
Product Overview:
The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution, known as the “bloody peeling,” combines alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) such as glycolic, lactic, tartaric, and citric acids with beta hydroxy acid (salicylic acid). This potent blend helps reduce various skin imperfections, including dark spots, wrinkles, and excess sebum production, particularly beneficial for oily skin. Tasmanian pepperberry extract minimizes irritation associated with acid use, helps even skin texture, unclogs pores, and reduces blemishes. The formula also includes a cross-linked hyaluronic acid polymer for enhanced skin benefits, provitamin B5 for hydration, and black carrot extract for protection. The product has a pH of approximately 3.6, with glycolic acid as the main AHA, crucial for effective acid-based products.
